Accentuate Your Eyes With Eyeliner

Eyeliners can be perfect tools for exquisite-looking eyes. They are fairly easy to use, too. Plus, you can actually look stunning even in the wee hours of the morning with just the eyeliner as your beauty tool.
Eyeliners come in different forms and colors. The one most often used is the pencil type. There is also another type of eyeliner and it comes in liquid form. This, however, requires constant practice and extreme control in order to create a perfect line over the lid. Still another type of eyeliner is the felt-tip eyeliner. It is similar to the pencil eyeliner, but it is much softer to the eyes. Whatever kind you opt to use, the goal of every type of eyeliner is basically the same, and that is to define the eyes and make it look dramatic and alive.
If you are going to use a pencil eyeliner, remember to put the eyeliner in the refrigerator for a few hours at least.A pencil eyeliner that has been chilled will make the tip softer. With your index finger, pull your eyelid gently, tilting it slightly towards the far end of your eyebrow. Next, using black, brown, violet or blue eyeliner, draw a straight light across your eyelid, starting from the inter corner towards the outer area of your eye. You may begin at the middle or you may go the length of the lid. It really depends on the kind of look you want to achieve. Use light, controlled strokes as you really would not want to irritate your eyes unnecessarily. Soften the line you have drawn by smudging it with a brush. How much color is too much depends on your personal preference or on the occasion. For a more dramatic look, go for dark applications, but for daytime, a light application will accentuate the eyes beautifully.
