New man in Sonam Kapoor's life
Sonam Kapoor may still be recovering from the shock of her new-found enmity with Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but there is something that will help her deal with the stress.
After more than two years of rumours and speculations about whom Sonam is going out with, it is now almost official. It isn't Ranbir Kapoor, and it isn't Kunal Kapoor either, in fact, Sonam has left the Kapoors of Bollywood alone and found love in VJ Cyrus Sahukar.
Cyrus and Sonam worked together in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6. While Sonam was the leading lady, Cyrus was a supporting actor, and what's more, one who is in love with Sonam, but doesn't manage to impress her enough.
Reel life failure aside, their real life chemistry was brilliant and the two got along well, and reports claim that they are now an item since they have been spotted a number of times at fancy restaurants enjoying quiet, romantic meals.
While Sonam is yet to confess to this love in public, Cyrus is hardly able to hide his joy, and has made many flattering statements about Sonam to the media, all but giving away that they are indeed a couple.
Luckily for the happy couple, they are also set to work together in the upcoming film Ayeesha, which is reportedly an adaptation of Jane Austen's celebrated novel Emma.
The thing to note is that Ayeesha is being produced by Sonam's dad Anil Kapoor, and he has signed Cyrus for the film. Does this mean the Sonam-Cyrus jodi has Anil Kapoor's blessings? Or is he just blissfully unaware?
