Ileana confirmed for ‘3 Idiots’ remake
It’s a much debated topic in these parts as to whether Ileana would do the female lead role in the Telugu and Tamil remakes of Hindi blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’, both to be directed by Shankar.And it has now been confirmed that the top actress of Tollywood would be a part of the project. Reliable sources say Ileana has signed on the dotted lines and is happy about working with Shankar.“She is equally thrilled to share the screen space with Mahesh Babu in Telugu and with Vijay in the Tamil version. Remember ‘Pokiri’ in which he acted opposite Mahesh is a runaway hit”, sources add.
Shankar, meanwhile, is expected to start the shooting in the middle of November. While Vijay is confirmed for Aamir Khan’s role in the Tamil version, Jeeva and Siddarth are expected to be roped in for the other two lead roles.
