It is rumored that Mahesh will play the lead in 3 Idiots. However, no official statement has been given from Mahesh Babu.Shankar who will be doing a remake of 3 Idiots has signed up heroine Ileana to play the heroine in the Tamil version of the movie. This will be her second Tamil release after her maiden venture bombed at the box-office. Early this year, she had signed a Tamil film opposite Vikram but it was scrapped. So in a way, this will be Ileana’s grand re-entry into Tamil with this Shankar’s next movie.
