I was misquoted: Kajal
On the verge of stiff action from the South Indian film fraternity to ban actress Kajal Aggarwal for her shocking comment that she never considered herself to be a South Indian actress as she is a North Indian by birth, the actress said that her comment, which appeared in a Mumbai tabloid was misquoted by the media.
"What the hell is happening?" was the first reaction from the actress, who is just back after a month-long shoot in Bangkok, Austria and Germany for Naga Chaitanya's Dada.
“I never said 'I'm not a South Indian actress.' I said I am a Mumbai girl. Mumbai is my home and that means that I do not have to relocate. I was misquoted," she said, adding "South India is the birthplace of my career and I would never speak like this about the industry I am so attached to."
